Our Estate Viognier, a romantic Rhone varietal, is very aromatic with hints of violets, honeysuckle and tropical fruit. On the palate it is velvety smooth and dry, with a tropical fruit overtone. It will enhance a fine meal or a great afternoon. This wine is becoming very popular in this region. This 2021 vintage is best served no colder than cellar temperature 58 to 63 degrees.
Primarily grown in France's Rhone Valley, this grape grows very well in our area. It produces an elegant aromatic wine with excellent acidity. The aroma of Roussanne can suggest wild flowers or herbal tea, spiciness and full mouth feel makes it perfect for grilled fowl and premium cheeses.
Our latest Rhône blend consists of the major grapes grown in this fertile and beautiful river valley of France. Although this region is hot and humid, in our opinion, this wine is very elegant. Aged 42 months.
Our Estate Flora blend is a combination of Garnacha (Granache) and Mataro (Mourvedre), two grapes of spanish origin, hence the colors of the flag of Spain on the labels. Enjoy it with lighter fare foods, fish dishes and of course, Paella.
Our Estate Grenache is one of the most widely planted red wine grapes in the world. It ripens late, so it needs hot dry conditions like in Spain, Southern France and here in Fairplay, CA. It is spicy, berry tones and is one of the major grapes of the Rhone region. This is aged 66 months in Oak barrels.
Our Estate Mourvedre is an attempt to reproduce as closely as possible, the most serious wine of Provence. It is rich with fruity, blueberry, black cherry flavors. It has a soft smoky nose and leaves on the palate a lingering taste of southern France.
In the tradition of southern Rhone wines, our Estate Fleurette is a blend of Syrah and Mourvedre. Syrah offers deep color, tannins and soft ripe fruit. Mourvedre brings acidity and ripe spicy berry fruit. Together for 23 months in barrels, this wine is perfect for everyday enjoyment.
A Very distinctive to Zinfandel, this wine is abundant with all the qualities of the varietal, vibrant red color with fresh blackberry fruit flavors and aromas, cinnamon and cedar, with a taste that lingers on the palate. dd a description about this item
Rich and opulent, our Estate Syrah is harvested at the height of ripeness, so it can develop into this rich, soft tasting, rare wine, reminiscent of Northern Rhone regions. Enjoy it with heavier and gamier dishes.
Vignoble, the word in France means vineyard. This red wine represents ours. It embraces most of the grapes from our estate "Vignoble". Bold and spicy, it will leave you wishing for a larger glass.
The Fleur de Lys version of this Piedmontese varietal is big, bold and deep ruby red. After barrel aging for 22 months, this Barbera is robust and pairs superbly with Italian cuisine, smoked meats and smoked cheeses.
This wine is anything but "petite". It is full of plum, blackberry and currant flavors. This wine goes well with stronger meats. Petite Sirah ages slowely and can survive fairly long cillarings of ten years or more.
The grapes for our estate late harvest Viognier were left on the vine for one month longer to achieve 31* brix. This elixir was fortified with V.S. quality brandy and raised in a French oak barrel for one year. This late harvest Viognier would be superb with creme brulee, cream puffs, or napoleons.
In 2012, we wanted to craft a wine with a small amount of Residual Sugar (3.5 Brix). Rich and opulent, please enjoy with decadent desserts, especially CHOCOLATE!!!.
Named after the fierce winds of Southern France, it's a blend of Mourvedre, Grenache and Syrah. " It blew me away (not really, I'm still here)".
